Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains how Snuvly (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on snuvly.com, what they are for, and how you can control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. They let a site remember your device, measure how it is used, and keep services such as payments working securely. “Similar technologies” include browser storage and tracking scripts that work in the same way.
How we use them
- Essential. Needed to take payments securely and to prevent fraud.
- Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are only set if you choose “Accept all” in our cookie banner.
We do not use cookies to show you advertising, and we do not sell personal information collected through cookies.
Cookies that may be set
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells us how many people visit the site and which pages they view, using an anonymous identifier. | 2 years | Analytics |
| _ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of a visit (session) so pages viewed in one visit are grouped together. | 2 years | Analytics |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe | Helps Stripe detect and prevent fraud on card payments. Set on the checkout page. | 1 year | Essential (payments and fraud prevention) |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe | Helps Stripe detect and prevent fraud during a checkout session. Set on the checkout page. | 30 minutes | Essential (payments and fraud prevention) |
Other technologies
- Google Tag Manager loads our analytics tag. It does not set cookies itself, but the tags it loads may.
- Order confirmation. After you place an order, a temporary reference is kept in your browser’s session storage so you can view your confirmation. It is removed when you close the tab. It is not a cookie and is never sent to a third party.
- PayPal. If you choose to pay with PayPal, PayPal loads its own scripts and may set its own cookies. See PayPal’s privacy statement.
- Product videos. Videos from YouTube only load after you click play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Google may set cookies once a video plays. See Google’s cookie information.
We do not set any first-party cookies of our own.
Third parties
Cookies set by Google and Stripe are controlled by those companies under their own policies: Google and Stripe.
How to control cookies
- Cookie banner. When you first visit, you can accept all cookies or reject non-essential ones. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
- Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop checkout from working correctly.
- Google Analytics. You can opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Some browsers can send these signals. Check your browser’s settings to turn them on.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we change the cookies we use or for legal reasons. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
